Online Paintball Stores are becoming the favorite choice among a lot of paintball players.

The fact is that it is much easier to do purchasing online than it is to travel to an offline store and make your purchases there.

But there are pros and cons to both methods of purchasing.

When it comes to the pros, there are some that a lot of people do not really take into consideration, and some that are pretty obvious.

Here are some of them:

• If the store you are purchasing from is from another state, you do not have to pay taxes
• By purchasing online you can save the time and travel expenses of visiting a store
• Most online stores offer free shipping if you buy certain items or spend a certain amount
• You will generally get a much wider range of items from online stores because they are not forced to hold them all on display, and can instead store them in a warehouse
• You can find cheap paintballs and other cheap paintball supplies for the reason stated above – not having a physical store results in less costs for them and allows them to lower the prices for you

Now, although there are very strong pros, there are also some pretty strong cons. Here are some of them:

• Online paintball stores are usually a lot harder to return items to than offline ones (places like Amazon are an exception)
• If the item you want does not offer free shipping it may be cheaper to buy it offline
• Return policies for online stores often differ from offline ones in that they accept returns for a much smaller time period
• Items can be damaged in shipment or lost, in which case you will be reimbursed but for items you had to have by a certain date, this could set you back a while

I prefer to get my Paintball Guns in offline shops but most other paintball gear online. There are some times when I get my markers online, though, and it really just depends on whether or not I am able to find them locally first. One thing that helps greatly is free paintball equipment catalogs, as they assist with finding what is available.

What is most important to take from this is the fact that both offline and online paintball stores can be good and bad. It all really depends on the situation so it is hard to really rank which one is better.
