Paintball Wars are probably the funnest thing to do with a paintball gun, as it is a way to really show off your skills.

You can have the wars in the form of organized Paintball Tournaments, or even as just get-togethers. One thing you want to do though is to determine a few things ahead of time, such as:

• Are you going to make up your own game rules or use one of the many pre-made Paintball Games? If using a pre-made, do you want to customize any of the rules or play it “vanilla” (meaning with no changes)?



• What types of Paintball Guns are allowed? Do you want to allow everything or only certain things? For example, you may not want to allow fully automatic weaponry on a field and game-type that is in a very small area.



• How are the teams going to work (if applicable)? Are they going to be the same every round or shuffled between rounds?



• How long are the games going to last? Knowing how long the entire event is going to be is helpful to know if people will be able to stay for the entire times or just part of it. If you plan to have 5 people on each team, for example, and 3 have to leave in an hour, that could be detrimental for the rest of the games. Knowing this information ahead of time can help negate that.

Knowing all of this ahead of time will help out with the process of hosting your Paintball Wars because it allows everyone to know what is going on, what is allowed, and what is not.

There can be a lot of confusion if these things are determined at the last second because different people may interpret the Paintball Rules differently.

Along with knowing your game types and rules, you may also want to think about taking extra supplies for other players.

Although you may be fully prepared for the games ahead, someone might not be.

Nothing is more annoying than having to quit gaming early due to someone who is not properly prepared, so taking extra stuff and not needing it is better than needing it and not having it. Who knows – maybe one day you will be the one who forgot and needs some supplies!

Although playing paintball alone might be fun, having Paintball Wars with your friends is even more fun. The possibilities when doing so are endless, and you can really strengthen your relationship with your friends in the process.
